AICB was delighted to host its 8th Chartered Banker Conferment 2025, broadcast live from the Auditorium at Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia. The ceremony was a proud moment for the profession, celebrating excellence and dedication to banking standards.

This year, 14 industry leaders were awarded the Fellow Chartered Banker (FCB) status, 71 received their Chartered Banker (CB) designation, and 534 members were recognised as Associate Chartered Bankers — a testament to their commitment and hard work. We also honoured 23 Excellence Award recipients for outstanding academic achievement.

Special congratulations go to the member banks recognised for their efforts in championing continuous learning:

A standout moment was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Chartered Banker Institute (CBI) to Tan Sri Azman Hashim, FCB, for his remarkable contributions to the industry. AICB also awarded Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, with an Honorary Fellowship for his leadership and impact on ASEAN banking. The ceremony ended on a high with a pledge to uphold AICB’s Code of Professional Conduct, led by the Chairman.
